UVC Line (Sterilizing Light)
Take Cleaning Your Business to a New Level with TCP’s Newest UV Downlights
Working, learning, and interacting with others in busy public spaces is quite different than it was just a few years ago. In today’s post-pandemic age, people are much more aware of how a building’s environment can affect their physical health and mental wellbeing. Businesses, schools, and commercial settings everywhere continue to seek ways to maintain a safe, clean, and disease-free environment.
Safeguarding employees, students and customers means you must minimize the spread of harmful germs and pathogens throughout your building. This is by far no easy task, and it involves a multitude of factors. From regularly disinfecting surface areas, to encouraging people to stay home if they feel ill – mitigating every potential risk is vitally important for everyone’s health and safety.
In addition to these tried-and-true protocols, most businesses strive to do more to ensure a safer environment. If health and security are top concerns for your business, we have a new solution. TCP is proud to introduce its latest breakthrough in commercial lighting – the SanEssentials Sanitizing Downlight. This state-of-the-art UV disinfecting light adds another layer of safety to current and ongoing cleaning routines.
How Do They Work?
TCP’s new sterilizing lights are the result of countless hours of planning, designing, and testing. Combining scientific research with the latest lighting technology, SanEssentials Sanitizing Downlights will take cleaning your office, school, or store to a whole new level.
SanEssentials Sanitizing Downlights utilize a basic 3-step process to help eliminate viruses, bacteria, and other pathogens from the environment:
- A centrifugal fan within the light draws air up to the unit
- As air enters the unit, an enclosed UV light traps and kills viruses and bacteria
- Disinfected air circulates back out
It’s that simple! Once viruses and bacteria make their way into the SanEssentials light, they’re trapped for good. The enclosed UV light source effectively destroys most types of pathogens, including the viruses that can cause influenza and COVID-19.
Reasons to choose TCP’s SanEssentials Sanitizing Downlights
If you manage a commercial space, and you want the safest, cleanest environment for everyone who works, shops, or studies there, you should invest in these potentially life-saving lights. They’ll add another layer of safeguarded protection to your already existing cleaning schedules and disinfecting routines.
The enclosed UV light that kills trapped viruses and bacteria poses little risk to others since it is safely housed within the unit. Each SanEssentials light has three distinct modes – light and disinfection, light only, or disinfection only. You can use the disinfection settings whenever you feel they’re most useful, then switch to light-only when appropriate.
In addition to disinfecting duties, SanEssentials lights provide 10-watts of energy-efficient, long-lasting LED illumination. Each unit features three customizable color temperatures as well – 3000K, 4000K, and 5000K – so you can easily go from warm to cool lighting in an instant.
Any commercial setting where the spread of viruses and bacteria could pose a health risk to others is considered an ideal application. This definitely covers a wide range of applications:
- Hospitals & healthcare
Especially in offices and schools, where people are in close proximity and breathe the same constantly circulating air, SanEssentials Sanitizing Downlights could help reduce the spread of harmful germs. Studies show that many common viruses are spread by airborne contamination. Eliminating pathogens in the air can significantly lower spread rates of certain viral and bacterial infections, which helps keep everyone much safer.
As the entire world goes back to work and school, and seeks better ways to maintain health and safety in public places, it simply makes sense to consider sanitizing lights as another viable option.
TCP’s SanEssentials lights are available in 5-inch or 6-inch retrofit and snap-in versions. Are you interested in keeping your commercial space safer? Learn more useful facts and details about SanEssentials Sanitizing Downlights.
