LightFair 2022 Returns to Las Vegas

The last time LightFair lit up Las Vegas was in 2014. The event was such a success, it set records for both occupancy and attendance. When LightFair returns to Las Vegas in June, record-breaking numbers are expected again. With more than 300 exhibitors, plus a full schedule of conferences, courses, and workshops, LightFair 2022 is raising the bar and plans for its most brilliant show to date.

If you plan on attending, expect to see the latest innovations in lighting from the industry’s brightest stars. LightFair 2022 promises to be an insightful and informative experience for everyone, where product discovery, networking and education each have their moment in the spotlight.

For those of you unfamiliar with LightFair, it is the world’s largest annual architectural and commercial lighting trade show and conference. It’s the one time a year when the lighting industry gathers in one place to share ideas, talk trends and plan for a brighter future.

Commercial Lighting Trends

Every year, event organizers like to shine a light on relevant trends that impact our industry. Attendees typically notice common themes that connect everything they’re seeing or hearing. As exhibitors share new products, and speakers discuss innovative concepts, it’s no surprise that there may be a spark of similarity between their purposes or intentions.

New trends seem to influence every aspect of lighting, from planning to installation. This is why it’s important to share these commercial lighting trends, because they have a huge effect on everything we do in the industry.

When you’re at LightFair 2022, here are top trends to notice as you explore everything the event has to offer.

Human-Centric Lighting

Have you ever wondered how lighting affects our mental health and well-being? This topic suggests that lighting in a commercial space should align with Circadian rhythm, our internal body clock, for comfortably balanced illumination throughout the day.

Sustainability & Efficiency

Decreasing energy consumption and conserving natural resources has been a global trend for years. The lighting industry seeks to reduce its carbon footprint through continued research and development. It’s a step in the right direction, as light sources evolve to use far less energy and release zero contaminants.

Smarter Lighting

Commercial spaces strive to maximize efficiencies wherever possible. When it comes to lighting, this means having Smart-based choices ready to access anytime, anywhere. As technology advances, so does Smart lighting’s unique capabilities and customizable, user-friendly options.

WHERE IS IT?

Las Vegas Convention Center’s West Hall

WHEN IS IT?

Trade Show: June 21-23, 2022
Conference: June 19-23, 2022

LightFair is excited to be back in the heart of Las Vegas. For 2022, larger booths are returning to the exhibit hall, along with many notable lighting brands, including TCP.

West Hall is a brand new, state-of-the-art addition to Las Vegas Convention Center. It’s a modern exhibition and conference space featuring an expansive terrace overlooking the Las Vegas strip. And it has an underground, Tesla-powered, free transportation system that can get you across the 200-acre campus in about a minute.

Maintaining health and safety are top priorities for LightFair. Event organizers will be implementing necessary measures to ensure everyone has a safe experience.

LightFair Is Coming Up Fast!

If you’re involved in the lighting industry and never attended LightFair, it’s definitely worth the trip. The energy at the trade show is unlike any other lighting event. Excuse the cliche, but creative sparks are everywhere. Especially when an exhibit sparks fresh ideas, which lead to conversations, and then networking opportunities among attendees.

LightFair’s mission is to shape the future of lighting. New products and technologies are awaiting discovery around every corner of the trade show. The hard-working team at TCP has several new things they’re super excited to share at their LightFair booth. The team doesn’t want to reveal everything yet, but we’ll give you a hint – a high lumen LED filament hint for starters. We’ve already said too much!
