TCP, Inc. Honored with Prestigious Growth Award for the Sixth Time

A true testament to the success of Northeast Ohio’s lighting innovator, TCP was recently named as a Cascade Capital Corporation Business Growth Award recipient for the sixth time in the past seven years.  The award is reserved exclusively for the top 45 area companies that were able to grow their sales by either 100 percent or $5 million, or that were able to increase personnel by 50 percent or 25 people.

“We are certainly honored and proud to receive this award,” said Ellis Yan, CEO of TCP, Inc.  “We have much to accomplish, but it’s important to recognize and reflect on what we have achieved already.”

In the last five years, TCP has more than doubled the number of employees and has increased sales from $83 million to nearly $155 million.  In addition the company recently invested in a new 154,000-square-foot facility in Aurora that serves as the organization’s headquarters, complete with a two-story office space and a distribution center, built to hold up to 300 employees, in anticipation of new growth.

“The new facility truly demonstrates our level of commitment to Northeast Ohio and our investment in the community,” Yan said.  “We hope that our plans to grow the business on an even greater scale will surely continue to benefit the area.”
