TCP, Inc. Sponsors First Annual Eco Show
Environmental Conference Debuts in Albany, New York

TCP, Inc. was the proud sponsor of the first annual Eco Show, an environmental conference designed to teach residents how to protect the earth through recycling, energy conservation, renewable energy usage and pollution prevention.  The conference was November 12 and 13 in Albany, New York.  In addition to sponsoring the event, TCP also demonstrated “Bright Town”, its school education program for elementary students teaching them about the environmental benefits of energy efficient lighting.

Eco Show, a free event, featured more than 70 businesses and 350 students working to educate the public on the benefits of incorporating "green" practices into their daily lifestyles. The show was expected to attract as many as 10,000 people.

“We welcomed this opportunity to educate residents and businesses on the immediate environmental benefits associated with using energy efficient lighting and we look forward to laying the ground work for this event to continue for years to come,” said Jennifer Oldsey, Education Coordinator, TCP, Inc.

The Eco Show was hosted by New Horizons Productions Ltd. based in Schenectady, New York.
