TCP, Inc. a Sponsor of the Green Dream Eco-Friendly Showcase
Event offered ideas on how to lead a green lifestyle
As the leader in energy efficient lighting innovation, TCP recently partnered with Beachwood High School, in Beachwood, Ohio to sponsor the Green Dream Eco-Friendly Showcase, an event that brought together 60 Cleveland-area, eco-friendly businesses and organizations to show guests what they are doing to make Northern Ohio “green.” During the environmentally friendly event, which took place on April 25, TCP handed out free compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFLs).
“We were extremely proud to be a sponsor of the Green Dream Eco-Friendly Showcase,” said Ellis Yan, CEO, TCP, Inc. “Through our sponsorship, we were able to ignite ideas in the minds of others possible solutions to the issue of global warming, including how saving energy can go a long way in helping reduce harmful carbon emissions.”
The Green Dream Eco-Friendly Showcase was a result of the work by the Marketing Education class at Beachwood High School on the launch of the "Ultimate Green Classroom," a national model for an eco-friendly classroom that includes everything from lighting to flooring to wall coverings and alternative energy sources.
