Jim Crowcroft, Vice President of Marketing
Jim Crowcroft joined TCP in March 2009 as the Vice President of Marketing. Jim leads TCP’s global marketing and product management team, and is responsible for all
advertising, branding strategy, product promotion and market research activities for TCP.
Mr. Crowcroft has over 26 years experience in marketing, sales and technical support. His background includes brand development, merchandising and marketing strategy, product research, platform management and training and technical support. Mr. Crowcroft began his career at Ford Motor Company and advanced through three functional units, eventually rising to the position of Regional Sales Operations Manager in Ford’s Commercial Truck Operations. He moved to Freightliner Corporation in 1997, where he served as Manager of Product Marketing for the Sterling Truck/Western Trucks unit for seven years. While there he was selected to lead several strategic initiatives that created new business functional units and held a key strategic role in the Company’s turnaround activity during 2001. In 2005, Mr. Crowcroft joined the executive team of Hendrickson International as Director of Marketing. While there he distinguished himself as global head of strategic marketing and product development, leading multiple new product launches and brand strategy projects.
Mr. Crowcroft received a B.S. in Management from Eastern Illinois University and has received A.S.E. Certification. He is currently a member of the American Marketing
Association.
