General Summary:
The responsibility of this position is to review, analyze, and modify programming systems to include encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support the organization's business applications. The position requires a familiarity of Microsoft .Net toolset, web applications and an understanding of enterprise resource planning system concepts, practices, and procedures. Gathers requirements from business analysts and users to create and develop code. Programmer will develop or maintain code to support existing applications. Person will assist in help desk issues, as required. Help solve problems and adapt problems presented so they fit within the operating limitations of the business.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in the coordination and installation of systems and procedures
• Test, pilot and implement solutions in a team environment
• Plan and migrate to new technologies
• Develop documentation standards to support new software and systems
• Facilitate discussions to understand business requirements for new systems or system enhancements and formulate
data processing solutions
• Analyze existing systems and program logic and make revisions
• Investigate user problems and initiate corrective action
• Monitor the ERP system after software implementation to ensure the accuracy and completeness of over-all applications
• Provide support on issues related to programs, investigate and resolve production problems
• Work independently on assigned tasks with decision-making capabilities
Experience and Education Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems/Technology, or Computer Science
• New to 2 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
• Analytical/problem solving skills.
• Proficient in all Microsoft applications
• Good interpersonal skills
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
