Summary
This position is responsible for the administration of new and existing company products including testing (as required), pricing, time-integrated plans for product introduction; product specification sheets, and field introduction. Along with developing, implementing and maintaining TCP’s product line, this position works closely with members of the marketing department, sales, sales support and operations to ensure continuity in product offering and company goals.
Essential Duties

Directs and performs all aspects of product changes and development, including specifying components, creating product specification sheets for procurement, promotion, compliance testing and ensuring proper product positioning by establishing strategic market level pricing. |

Provides strategic development of category that enhances brand image and drives profitable growth within category. |

|
Reviews sales history and performance of products within category, summarizing conclusions on how products performed to merchandise plan and communicating summary across departments. |
|

|
Investigates lower than expected performers by regularly performing pricing and competitive analysis and establishes action plans to address them, including recommendation to rationalize products and coordinating process to communication rationalization. |

Recommend strategies to improve market position, improve quality or reduce costs. |
|

|
Participates in the product development process, monitoring the status of products through each stage of the development process to ensure continuity with approved merchandise plan. |
|

|
CFL Product Manager is responsible for products across all business channels including commercial, retail, e-commerce and OEM channels. |
|
*
|
Manages and communicates sales information and product changes both internally and externally through respective sales channels. |
|
*
|
Represents the sales and marketing departments in group meetings, industry shows and events. |
|
*
|
Helps to secure major orders/opportunities where needed for respective product group. |
|
*
|
Maintains and updates annual forecast. Responsible for actions to reduce excess inventory as measured by established product group inventory turns. |
|

|
Establishes and maintains key relationships with vendors to help facilitate the timely completion of projects and/or new products. |
|
*
|
Introduces and markets new products by developing time-integrated plans with sales, advertising, and production. |
|
*
|
Adheres to and promotes TCP’s company values by performing duties in a manner that is consistent with being a team leader and supports the continued growth of the company. |

Education/Training:
• Bachelors degree in Marketing
• 3 to 5 years in prior Marketing or Product Management Development.
