Summary
The Business Systems Analyst is responsible to develop thorough knowledge in the design, implementation, operation and support of specific business applications and/or supporting technologies to deliver improved business performance. The day-to-day activity of the Business Systems Analyst demonstrates an IT culture that emphasizes quality, responsiveness, customer service, productivity, high standards and results. Essential Duties
  • Establish, in conjunction with Director, Information Technology and business owners, challenging IT goals, plans and objectives that support the company’s vision.
  • Develop, maintain and enhance knowledge in the JD Edwards OneWorld and EnterpriseOne solutions in one or more of the following areas: Sales Order Management; Inventory Management; Advanced Pricing; Advanced Warehousing, Transportation Management and other distribution related functionality and systems, including web-based customer self service applications.
  • Manage and maintain positive working relationships with IT solution and service providers and evaluate alternatives to achieve greatest value for the company.
  • Organize project activities using a lifecycle approach, including phases of design, configure/develop, validate, test, support and improve/sustain.
  • Define tasks and resource requirements to the appropriate level of detail to enable accurate, on-time and on-budget projects.
  • Participate in activities associated with internal/external IT security audits and risk assessments and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage and respond to Help Desk requests in the areas of responsibility.

General Summary:

Summary
This position is responsible for conducting a variety of electrical, photometric and colorimetric tests. Most time is spent interacting with test measurement equipment through a PC; work is done using prescribed procedures.
